My Little Goblin
My Little Goblin (it needs a name) #namingmygoblin
Last night we were watching a reality program (I KNOW :) - we may need to get out of the house)!
Couples were asked to identify 5 negative character traits in their partners. Given a list of 15 each individual had to identify 5 within themselves which their partners then had to guess 5 out of the 15 correctly.
Feeling, Knowing and Going with it :)
It has been more then a week since my Kahuna 7 (in fact I am going for number 8 today :) HORRAY!). Yes I am a human being and sometimes life gets away with me - luckily "life getting away with you" isn't always a bad thing!
Expect the Unexpected
Our minds and bodies are AMAZING!
Do this exercise - take just 5 minutes to think about blinking, breathing and each movement your body makes, nothing else, just think about that. Our mind and body does all these things on its own, subconsciously, all day, every day.
Love :)
A year ago today my life changed forever when Chris asked me to be his wife :). In the midst of a very tough time in my life, it was one of the happiest days :)! I knew from the first time I met Chris that he was my person & knowing that I will have him by my side forever is something I still cant quite wrap my head around #luckyme!
Live, Love, Laugh
This is a brave one - religion & politics are to be avoided - but here I go :) #thisisme
Spirituality, religion, science, the environment, mother nature, nothing...
Everyone believes in something different, no one person is the same, and we cannot expect any two people to share exact thoughts, feelings or beliefs.
The Balancing Act :)
Week 4 was simple - balancing. We concentrated on balancing the male and female within, emotions and hormones. Creating symmetry within the body.
Balance is so important and is something that is so hard to get right. Life is full of conflicts - things we want to do, things we need to do, things we don't really want to do but have to!
Its taken me a while to work it out a general "daily life" balance - early mornings seem to make sense when you married to a dairy farmer, so I use this time when I need it for work and chores. Later mornings are all about brushing hair, teeth, breakfast and school runs. Then work, exercise and cleaning the house. Afternoons I like to spend time with Roo & our pets, we play, go for walks and spend time on the farm. Evenings are for Chris and I and then early to bed. It works <3!
Balance within is as important, hormones, emotions, feelings all get piled in and generally in the business of all of the above, we set them aside without realizing how they build up and effect us. Next time you having a bad day, just stop and thing about whats going on within, you'll be surprised how it creeps up to get you!
Cry when you need to cry, laugh when things are funny, take your shoes off and just walk around the garden. Breath in and out, take some time for yourself and let yourself think, process, feel... then let things go. Find a place that makes you happy, and allow yourself to feel what you are feeling - on bad days I love to run in the trees, there is something about a forest, space and exercise - it just helps me to calm down, process and getting endorphin's in is always a positive for me!
Give yourself time, forgive yourself for the bad days... it makes for one happier person.

Gloopy Moosh :)
I wait until the very last possible minute to buy things, and when its things for me... I am even worse! I wait until I look like a bit of an "Orphan Annie", as my mum calls me, before I decide I need to get some new clothes. I cut the end of my face cream tube to get a few extra days out of it and you have never seen a butter dish as clean as mine when I'm done with the stuff :)!
Kahuna Massage #2
Firstly... having a massage every week has to be the BIGGEST treat/indulgence I have ever had! Its hard to take (guilt free) time out of our busy everyday lives to just let go, relax and breathe...
Doing Something Different
I have watched my mum and dad build up their farm and business since I was a child, starting small and growing slowly and carefully. Chris now manages for them and everyday its not just about managing a farm but so much more. We respect where it comes from, the work that has gone in to create this business, the hard times, the commitment and the passion they have for their farm, their animals and their product.
