Our Weekend at Brahman Hills
Moms and Dads, this one is for you!
Chris and I were spoilt with a weekend away (from our kids) at the beautiful Brahman Hills - and wow what a spoil it was!
Beautiful accommodation, environment and food aside there were so many little perfections that made Brahman HIlls really stand out!
We stayed in a lovely little self catering cottage, that was so well equipped and comfortable - the highlight had to be the private jaccuzi on our deck!
Think beautiful views, chilled champagne and bubbly jaccuzi.. Friyay!
Saturday was great! It was such fun to be "tourists" in our own stomping ground and so different without the kids around.
We visited some of our favorites (more to come on this) and enjoyed a few more relaxing hours at out cottage in the afternoon.
One stand out thing had to be the efficiency of the housekeeping staff - they were like magic faries who cleaned,
turned down and tidied each time we left our cottage - meaning we always came home to a beautiful clean cottage without ever seeing anyone - LOVE!
Saturday evening had to be the highlight of our stay - BIG surprise, the food was my favorite part!
We were spoilt with the most amazing food at 89 on Copper.
This restaurant is beautiful! Situated underground, in the wine cellar an exposed brick passages lead us into the gently lit, cosy, warm space where we
enjoyed 3 courses of well prepared and beautifully presented food. There was really nothing to let it down, the atmosphere, setting, service and food were all exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate
to go back for another spoil!
I think the prictures pretty much say it all, I love the Midlands fans - this place is amazing! It'a different and way more then you would expect and certainly a MUST add to your KZN Midlands bucket list
