Some must do’s in the Midlands this long weekend :)

Its a LOOOOOONG weekend :) – here are some top Midlands tips (that you may not know) for some must do’s this weekend.

When you get here on Friday – visit Thokan’s Cash Store on the R103 in Lions River & have a samosa :) – they are the best in town!
 

While you here, have a coffee at Steam Punk Cafe  

Book dinner at Fern Hill Hotel for Alex Poltera’s Friday night Curry!

Do the Piggly Wiggly Park run on Saturday Morning (5Km run/walk) followed by delish Parkrun breakfast & famous Piggly coffee

Mums – visit Freerange Clothing for a spoil, Dads – visit Meander Fine Wines and enjoy some wine tasting, Kids – ride the Lions River Railway Steam Train :)

Get kitted out for a picnic at 3 Fat Pigs and find a spot on the Midlands for a Picnic (some nice ideas are Karloof Falls or even Midmar Dam)

Take some time to laze about and enjoy the space, peace and beauty of the Midlands

Visit St Ives Boma for the Springbok game – new ,vibey & fun.

Take time to enjoy a Lazy Sunday morning

Book Sunday Lunch at Il Postino Pizzeria – plan to spend some time here, good food, atmosphere and beers on tap :)

If you are in need of a little more exercise, visit Big Wheel Cycles and enjoy some of their great Mountain Biking routes

Drive a little further up the road and visit the second hand jacket shop in the Dargle (you may find a treasure or two)

Monday (the extra day), indulge in a massage with Midlands House of Healing – lovely scenic drive and the best massage in the Midlands :)
